Skye Haus was a brand built from the ground up to capture the charm, adventure, and natural beauty of a modern mountain retreat. Sketching Process
Every brand begins with exploration. The Skye Haus identity started as a series of hand-drawn sketches, experimenting with typography, icons, and A-frame-inspired concepts before moving into Adobe Illustrator for further refinement. After narrowing the designs to three final directions, I gathered feedback from a trusted group of peers to help inform the final selection, resulting in a logo that was both distinctive and timeless.

Every detail of the guest experience was designed to feel thoughtful and memorable. From the custom welcome guide to branded stationery, these pieces helped extend the Skye Haus identity beyond the space itself while providing guests with useful information and a personal connection to their stay.

To celebrate the beauty of Running Springs, I created a collection of custom environmental graphics and illustrations inspired by the surrounding landscape. From an illustrated town map and local field guide to large-format wall art, each piece was designed to help guests discover the area while creating a stronger sense of place throughout the cabin.
